“I went to a few breweries that felt like they were made for guys-only, beer experts – I didn’t fit that category but I still wanted to participate, learn and drink good beer. That’s when my Dad and I decided to create Fitzhugh Brewing. We want this to be a wildly inclusive place with amazing beer, delicious food, and a beautiful space for everyone.”

Fat Bottom Brewing Company opened its doors in August of 2012, and as East Nashville’s first brewery, it quickly became a neighborhood favorite. As the city of Nashville grew, so did Fat Bottom. Shortly after celebrating 4 years of business, the move from the East side to the West side began. Fat Bottom grew from roughly 5000 square feet, to a brand new, state of the art, 33,000 square foot facility. We have expanded not just our beer offerings and facilities, but most importantly, our team.

We’re a fiercely independent Tennessee craft brewery and pizzeria. We’ve called Nashville home since 2014, and have since grown to seven taprooms in the greater Nashville area, and one in Chattanooga, many with their own dedicated production facility.
