NEW MAGNOLIA BREWING IS A FAMILY-OWNED AND OPERATED BREWERY LOCATED IN THE HISTORIC HEIGHTS NEIGHBORHOOD OF HOUSTON, TX. FOUNDED IN 2018, AND BREWED INTO EXISTENCE NOVEMBER 2019.  FOR NEW MAGNOLIA BREWING CO, WE ENVISIONED A BREWERY THAT PAYS HOMAGE TO HOUSTON’S BEER HISTORY AND THE ORIGINAL MAGNOLIA BREWERY, ONCE LOCATED ON BUFFALO BAYOU IN DOWNTOWN HOUSTON (1895 – 1935).  BY WAY OF THIS VISION, WE ENDEAVOR TO BRING ATTENTION TO THE HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF HOUSTON BEER AND THE CULTURAL IMPACT BEER HAD ON THE EARLY DAYS OF HOUSTON.  WE ARE A FAMILY-FRIENDLY, ALL-INCLUSIVE, NEIGHBORHOOD CRAFT BREWERY, WITH A FOCUS ON GETTING BACK TO THE QUALITY AND STANDARDS OF WHERE CRAFT BEER STARTED. Fat Bottom Brewing Company opened its doors in August of 2012, and as East Nashville’s first brewery, it quickly became a neighborhood favorite. As the city of Nashville grew, so did Fat Bottom. Shortly after celebrating 4 years of business, the move from the East side to the West side began. Fat Bottom grew from roughly 5000 square feet, to a brand new, state of the art, 33,000 square foot facility. We have expanded not just our beer offerings and facilities, but most importantly, our team.
